How much does a wedding cost?

As soon as you receive the marriage proposal, you usually start fantasising about the end result of that day, princely dresses, flowers in every corner, dream location, etc. until you start doing the first wallet calculations. This is how the question so many of us ask: how much does it cost to get married? Obviously, the answer turns on you: ‘how much are you willing to invest?’ What we can tell you is the minimum to make the wedding happen, but there is no upper limit to that figure. So let’s find out together the minimum budget for a wedding of around 100 guests.

First, it is essential to make a list of everything you think should be part of your wedding. Such as the one below:

  • Cake designer
  • Bartender
  • Music for ceremony and reception

  • Favors/confetti
  • Flowers

In general, however, it is a good starting point from which to make one’s own considerations.

After making the list, it is necessary to figure out how to divide the budget, to give you some hints we indicate that about 50% of the total expenditure will go to the location, catering and cake.

We will then have about 15 percent to allocate to her and his dress and accessories.

We will then devote about 10% to wedding planners, photos and flowers respectively.

We then divide the remainder into make-up, hairstyle and DJ.

Let us now turn to another frequently asked question: how to save money?

The first thing to pay attention to is the number of guests, this is certainly an important variable.

The second aspect is location: it is more cost-effective to get married in a location with in-house catering rather than a location plus separate catering.
